The Friendship Bridge

Sometimes, friendship speaks in colours, clouds, and quiet smiles.

This World Friendship Day, 30th July, meet three girls who remind us that the strongest bonds don’t need big words — just open hearts, understanding, empathy, and the simple joy of being seen.

Rashmi may think differently. But Rashmi, Tia, and Ruhi  shine brighter together. Dive into this gentle, warm tale of inclusion and imagination.

  1. Beautiful story! And I loved the fact that there are no “labels”.
We had an exercise for middle school kids where they had to write the labels associated with them from childhood in a small piece of paper. Tell loudly “ I am not “label name like fat, dumb, lazy, etc” and tear it up. Some of the children had tears in their eyes while doing this exercise. Adults cause trauma to kids by labelling them. Recollected this incident and a quote

“Sometimes the greatest gift you can give another person is simply to include them.”

    1. Thats a really beautiful exercise Suja. I myself had goosebumps when I read it. Yes, i have not labelled the kid in this story anywhere. Let parents explain to them in their own sweet terms. Thanks for the coment and the share. 😀
